Design of HDS installation LOTOS Gdańsk as a subcontractor for ABB, CB&I Lummus and Lurgi. The HDS unit allows an increase in Grupa LOTOS’s ultra-low diesel production to approximately 2.3 million metric tons per annum (MTA) directly after the date of start-up and more, when the new crude distillation will be added to the project. The unit allows Grupa Lotos to comply with the EU requirement of less than 10 ppm sulphur in the diesel oil, which is in force as of 2009
